i am so tired! and to think that i barely slept last night for no reason at all. supposedly, i was going to be making up a biology test, taking an english quiz, turning in eight english journals, and turning in my artbook today .. but of the aforementioned, the only thing that ended up being collected was my artbook. which is possibly the highlight of my entire week, despite the fact that it's only monday. i got a 100! i absolutely loved visiting the gallery and talking with chris, and i really think that this entry conveyed that. i pushed myself and used a number of different mediums i had never used before (including metal hardware and oil pastels). i'm so proud.
our next assignment, in addition to working on our weekly 10-page entry, is a 3D project on a lunch tray that i'm kind of excited about. i'm sure i'll be posting pictures as it progresses or toward the end, because it should be rather interesting-looking, to say the least. i have no idea where she comes up with these projects but they definitely keep my on my toes, artistically (so to speak).
okay, i need to go study and attempt to knock out a good portion of my workload for this week, because it's going to be a busy one. so far my planner says .. monday (today): nexus; tuesday: work; wednesday: after-school biology semester-exam review; thursday: after-school history semester-exam review, and working; friday: national honor society induction & prop-shopping afterward with lexi for my next shoot. and that leaves saturday and sunday to do nothing but cram for next week's exams! oi vey. hope everyone's monday wasn't too treacherous (;
