so right now i'm wearing this big black ski cap that covers all of my head (and with my ridiculously thick head of italian hair, that's quite a feat) and the greater portion of my face. why? well, because at 2:06 am, one is often compelled to do things a little out of the ordinary.

aside from what seems to be becoming a habit of staying up so late, today was a fun day. i cleaned my room (i'm becoming more and more like my mother every day...), worked from 3-6, ate dinner at panera, saw my old principal, went to michaels, came home, and made a bracelet!
i was inspired today by this woman's bracelet that i saw, with all of these tiny little leaves on it. so i decided to attempt to make my own. i bought a silver chain and silver earrings with loops on the end, so that i could attach the little silver leaves that i bought. (i like silver, gold has always seemed tacky to me.)
i love how it turned out! despite having to cut off all my fingernails to squeeze the bracelet links together, it was definitely worth it. maybe i'll take a metalworking class at risd this summer if they offer them. i think i've found myself a new medium (:
